Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.

  • We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.

  • We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.

  • We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

  • We believe that the redemption work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

  • We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Act 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

  • We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

  • GOD : We believe that there is only one true and living God existing in three persons-Father, Son, and

Holy Spirit. Each is a distinct person, but all one essence and all having the same nature, perfection and
attributes, and each is worthy of the same worship, confidence, and obedience (Genesis 1:1-3, 26;
Matthew 3:16, 17; John 1:1, 14, 10:30, 14:26, 15:26; Matthew 28:19).

  • JESUS CHRIST: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the

virgin Mary, shed his blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father
according to the Scriptures (Luke 1:26-33, 22:20, 24:46).

  • HOLY SPIRIT : We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity, God and coexistent with

the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the chief agent in the regeneration of the soul, convicting sin,
and the chief comforter of the believer. Simultaneous with regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes the
believer into the body of Christ, permanently indwells him and seals him in salvation for all eternity. The
Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer (John 16:1-13; Acts 4:3-4; Titus 3:5; Matthew
3:11; Ephesians 1:13-14; I Corinthians 12:1-11).

  • THE BIBLE/SCRIPTURES: We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is

inerrant in the original writings. The Bible being the revealed Word of God is the ground and foundation
from which all claims of truth shall be substantiated. The Word of God is alive and quick! Through God’s
sovereign hand, the scriptures have been preserved and are the supreme and final authority. We believe
that the Bible is the Word of God and contains one harmonious and sufficiently complete system of the
doctrine. We believe in the full inspiration of the Word of God. We hold the Word of God to be the only
authority in all matters and assert that no doctrine can be true or essential, if it does not find a place in
his Word (II Timothy 3:16- 17; II Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12).

  • MAN: We believe that man is the direct creation of God; body, soul and spirit. Therefore, man is not in

any way a result of evolution but is made in God’s image. The sin and fall of Adam resulted in the fall of
creation and mankind both physically and spiritually (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:10, 5:12, 8:18-23).

  • SALVATION: We believe that all who, in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by

the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God. Salvation involves redemption, regeneration,
sanctification and glorification (Ephesians 1:7; Romans 10:9-19, 5:7- 11; Colossians 1:13-14, 21-22;
John 17:16-22; II Corinthians 5:17; I Corinthians 6:19).

  • TITHES AND OFFERINGS: We believe that the method ordained of God for the support of Ministry

and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ is by giving of tithes and free-will offerings. (Malachi 3:10; II
Corinthians 9:7).

  • THE FINAL JUDGEMENT: We believe that all shall stand some day before the judgment seat of God,

and there receive eternal life or eternal death (2 Corinthians 5:10)

  • THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and

imminent (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

  • HEAVEN: We believe that heaven is the glorious eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:1-3,

Revelation 7:15-17)

  • HELL : We believe that Hell is a real place for those who did not commit to Jesus Christ as their

personal savior but rather takes a position of atheism (total disbelief that there is a God) or chooses to
live a lifestyle outside of the Grace of God.

  • REPENTENCE: We believe When the world repents, they feel sorrow. But, feeling sorrow over one’s sins is not

enough. We must turn from our sin and change our lifestyle and the way we live. Judas, repented for
betraying Jesus, (Matthew 27:3) but his ways showed only regret, not a change of mind. When a child is
punished, the parent may feel sorrow that the discipline was necessary, but that sorrow doesn’t cause
them to change their mind about loving their child. Repentance actually has three parts :

  • A turning from sin – This turning must be both in heart (emotion) and mind (thinking). We must feel

both sorrowful in our hearts by changing the thinking of our minds.

  • A spirit of abhorrence to sin – A desire to turn away from our old ways and find new ones. We should

hate sin and desire to be holy.

  • A spirit of honor towards God – God told Abram: I am Almighty God, walk before me and be thou

perfect. And again, He said: I am Holy, be ye therefore also holy. THE TRI-UNE ATTRIBUTE OF GOD (The
trinity):

  • GOD THE FATHER : We believe in God, the Father Almighty, is the author and creator of all things. The

Old Testament reveals God in diverse manners, by manifesting his nature, character, and dominions. The
Gospels in the New Testament gives us knowledge of God the “Father” or “My Father,” showing the
relationship of God to Jesus as Father, or representing Him as the Father in the Godhead, and Jesus
himself that Son (St. John 16:8; 14:20).

  • GOD THE SON : We believe that Jesus was and is eternal in His person and nature as the Son of God

who was with God in the beginning of creation (St. John 1:1). We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a
virgin called Mary according to the scripture (St. Matthew 1:18). We believe that Jesus Christ became the
“Suffering Servant” to man; this suffering servant came seeking to redeem man from sin and to reconcile
him back to God, his Father (Romans 8:10).

  • GOD THE HOLY GHOST: We believe the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity;

proceeds from the Father and the Son; is of the same substance; equal in power and glory; and is,
together with the Father and the Son, to be believed in, obeyed, and worshipped. The Holy Ghost is
bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping and empowering the believer; making him a
more effective witness in the world. He teaches and guides one in all truth. (John 16:13; Acts 1:8; 8:39)

  • THE INDEWELLING OF THE HOLY GHOST : We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is an

experience subsequent to conversion and sanctification, and that tongue-speaking is the consequence
of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the manifestations of the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23; Acts
10:46; 19:1-6). We believe that we are not baptized with the Holy Ghost in order to be saved, but that we
are baptized with the Holy Ghost because we are saved (Acts 19:1-6; John 3:6). To be filled with the Spirit
means to be Spirit-Controlled as expressed by Paul in Ephesians 5:18-19.

  • WATER BAPTISM: We believe in the full submersion of individuals in water for the remission of sin

according to Matt 3:13-16; Mark 1:5-9; John 4:1, 2; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:12-16; Rom 6:4; Eph 4:5;
Colossians 2:12, Matt 28:19-20. We believe that water baptism is an outward expression of an inward
confession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of our life. This expression exemplifies the death, burial, and resurrection
of Jesus Christ in the believers’ life which manifests in the believers’ walk with Christ while living a
changed lifestyle.
