Bishop Jovan Blake
Bishop Jovan Durrell Blake, renowned for his dynamic and transformative ministry in Los Angeles, has been a pivotal spiritual leader for nearly 30 years. Beginning his journey at just 12 years old, Bishop Blake was ordained in the C.O.G.I.C after studying at Southwest Bible College. He founded Life Christian Center, which serves as a beacon of deliverance and restoration in Southern California.
Consecrated as a Bishop in 2012, he has served prominent roles including Jurisdictional Prelate and Bishop of Protocol. Currently, he is the President of J.D. Blake Ministries and the Chief Apostle of the R.E.A.C.H Alliance, emphasizing authentic pastoral relationships and divine calling. Bishop Blake's ministry is celebrated for its heartfelt compassion and integrity, impacting lives globally through conferences, crusades, and revivals. A devoted family man, Bishop Blake is a prolific preacher, teacher, evangelist, and revivalist, known for his powerful deliverance and healing ministries. Genevieve Blake, First Lady of Life Christian Center in the Antelope Valley, has made substantial contributions through her roles in the church and her professional work in social work.
Growing up in a Christian household, Genevieve Blake was instilled with values of service and spirituality from an early age. Her academic pursuits at the University of California, Riverside, where she earned a degree in Sociology, followed by a Master’s of Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield, equipped her with the skills necessary to impact her community positively. Her involvement in Faith Based Initiative programs in Los Angeles County during her studies deepened her commitment to service, shaping her future role in the church.
As the First Lady of Life Christian Center, Genevieve Blake plays a pivotal role in supporting her husband, Bishop Jovan D. Blake, and participating in church governance as a member of the Board of Trustees. She also leads the Women’s Ministries, focusing on empowering women through spiritual growth and support.
Beyond her duties at Life Christian Center, Genevieve Blake is an active community leader and a Children’s Social Worker. Her professional experience enriches her ability to provide not just spiritual guidance but also practical support to families facing emotional and psychological challenges. Her dedication extends into community outreach, collaborating with local organizations to enhance the welfare of families in the Antelope Valley.
